Cold Justice

In the second part of “House of Horrors,” the Cold Justice team, led by former Texas prosecutor Kelly Siegler, and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office continue their investigation into the 2015 Pendleton quadruple homicide, hoping to bring answers and justice to the grieving family and community. The episode airs on Oxygen on May 4, 2024, at 8:00 PM.

The first part of “House of Horrors,” which aired on April 27, 2024, revealed shocking details about the case. The married couple, Michael and Cathy Scott, along with their mothers, Barbara Scott and Violet Taylor, were found dead in their home on November 2, 2015. All four victims were shot, and three of them were found in the den, while one was found in the bedroom. The investigation uncovered a family feud, a trail of stolen cash, and a bloody shoe print left by the killer. Authorities believe the victims knew their killer and that there was no sign of forced entry.

The case gained widespread attention, and the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office worked tirelessly to find the perpetrators. In 2023, Amy Vilardi, Cathy Scott’s daughter, and her husband, Rosmore “Ross” Vilardi, were charged and arrested for the murders. The Vilardis lived on the same property as the Scotts and had a history of disputes with the victims. The police, however, did not disclose the evidence leading to their arrest, stating that the details would come out in court.
