“Elsbeth” Returns April 4 on CBS With A Double Bill

Two brand new episodes of the critically acclaimed series ELSBETH are set to air on Thursday, April 4th, from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. The show has garnered widespread praise, boasting a Certified Fresh rating of over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes.

In the first episode, titled “A Classic New York Character,” Elsbeth and Kaya find themselves at the scene of a mysterious death when the despised co-op board president (played by Linda Lavin) of a luxurious pre-war building plummets from her balcony. As they investigate further, they cross paths with Joann (portrayed by Jane Krakowski), a powerful Manhattan real estate broker harboring significant secrets.

The episode is written by Bryan Goluboff and directed by Robert King.

Following this intriguing installment, viewers will be treated to “Reality Shock.” This episode delves into the demise of a larger-than-life reality TV star who is found dead in her bathtub. Elsbeth and Kaya delve into the circumstances surrounding her death to determine if it was an accident or something more sinister. Their investigation leads them to Skip Mason (played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson), the unpredictable producer behind the popular guilty pleasure reality series “Lavish Ladies.” As suspicion mounts against him, he becomes a prime suspect accused of going to extreme lengths for sensational television moments.

To whet your appetite for ELSBETH’s return on April 4th, CBS will air encores of its premiere episode on Thursday, March 14th and Saturday, March 30th. These encores include special behind-the-scenes content where cast members and producers share their favorite moments from the premiere.
