BBC One’s Garden Rescue returns for another episode this Thursday, 2 May 2024, at 3:45 pm. In this instalment, titled “Stanton Harcourt,” Charlie and Flo go head-to-head to create a Jamaican-inspired garden for a recently married couple, Norline and Wendell.
Norline and Wendell are looking for a new garden where they can relax, socialise, and pursue Wendell’s passion for cooking. Flo’s design is chosen, and the team sets out to bring her vision to life. The garden includes a bespoke brick-built barbecue, a planting pocket inspired by Fern Gully, and a romantic love seat surrounded by roses.
Charlie also contributes a Mondrian-inspired raised bed, and there’s a special surprise for Norline: her mum’s favourite plant from when the family lived in Jamaica.
Garden Rescue features a team of garden designers who compete to create stunning outdoor spaces for homeowners across the country. The show is currently in its ninth series and airs weekdays on BBC One.
