In the second episode of Garden Rescue’s ninth season, airing on BBC One, Tuesday 30 April, Jane, a retired archaeologist with a passion for history, seeks to revitalise her small, terraced Victorian garden. Having battled lung cancer for 15 years, she now celebrates her all-clear status by embarking on a garden makeover.
Jane desires a relaxed and free-flowing garden with a seating area for tranquil moments. She wishes to attract wildlife and incorporate a unique blend of flowers and vegetables in a potager style. With a budget of £6,000, she challenges designers Charlie and Lee to incorporate her archaeological finds into their designs.
The episode, “Cwybran,” promises to showcase the transformation of Jane’s garden, highlighting the creative ways in which Charlie and Lee utilise her archaeological treasures. With their expertise, they aim to craft a space that reflects Jane’s love for history and nature.
