In the second episode of Garden Rescue’s ninth season, airing on BBC One, Tuesday 30 April, Jane, a retired archaeologist with a passion for history, seeks to revitalise her small, terraced Victorian garden. Having battled lung cancer for 15 years, she now celebrates her all-clear status by embarking on a garden makeover.

Jane desires a relaxed and free-flowing garden with a seating area for tranquil moments. She wishes to attract wildlife and incorporate a unique blend of flowers and vegetables in a potager style. With a budget of £6,000, she challenges designers Charlie and Lee to incorporate her archaeological finds into their designs.
