On Tuesday June 11, Good Morning America welcomes Griffin Dunne, an American actor, producer, and director known for his work in front of and behind the camera. Dunne has had a diverse career, starring in films like “After Hours,” “Who’s That Girl,” and “An American Werewolf in London.” He also directed “Practical Magic” and the documentary “The Center Will Not Hold” about his aunt, Joan Didion.

Dunne recently released a memoir, “The Friday Afternoon Club,” which offers a glimpse into his Hollywood-Irish family and their complex dynamics. The book details Dunne’s upbringing in Beverly Hills, surrounded by movie stars, and his experiences with addiction and family tragedy.
