On Tuesday June 11, The Jennifer Hudson Show welcomes Retta, an actress and comedian known for her roles in “Parks and Recreation” and “Good Girls.” Retta will be discussing her new movie, “Hit Man,” a romantic comedy directed by Richard Linklater.
The film is inspired by an unbelievable true story about a college professor who becomes a fake hitman for the police department. Retta plays a New Orleans detective alongside stand-up comedian and actor Sanjay Rao.
The show also features engaged couple Samuel Evans and Tateona Adams from Chicago, Illinois. They have a blended family of five sons: Devan, Tristan, Demari, Carter, and Josiah. Samuel, determined to break the cycle of his own upbringing in a rough neighborhood, prioritizes love and respect within his family.
