Good Morning America, May 1, 2024, ABC, “Lei Pacifika Dancers”
On Wednesday, May 1, Good Morning America welcomes travel expert Ashan Singh, who will offer cost-saving tips for those planning a trip to Iceland. With Iceland being an expensive destination, Singh’s advice will be valuable for viewers considering a trip to the country.
The show will also feature a performance by the Lei Pasifika dancers, a group founded by Tamara Bejar Hernandez to preserve and celebrate Pacific Islander culture through traditional Tahitian dance. The group has grown from a small troupe performing in New York City parks to a full dance studio, with dancers of Hawaiian, Tongan, and Guam heritage. Their dances tell stories of the Pacific Islands, such as “Te Pua No’a No’a,” which depicts the flowers of Tahiti.
Plus, ABC’s e-commerce editor Tory Johnson will present Deals & Steals, offering exclusive savings on a range of products. Johnson’s segment is always highly anticipated, with viewers eager to take advantage of the deals she curates.
Good Morning America is a two-hour, live program anchored by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan, and Ginger Zee, who serves as chief meteorologist.
Good Morning America airs Monday through Friday at 7:00 a.m. on ABC.
