Home and Away is back with another dramatic episode when Bree and Remi’s relationship is tested as Bree discovers Remi has lied to her about his motorbike. Tane finds himself in the spotlight as his motives are questioned, while Harper shares an article with him that puts him in an uncomfortable position. Meanwhile, journalist interest in the baby intensifies, and Rose is forced to take action to protect those involved.

The episode, airing on Channel 5 on Wednesday 1 May, begins with Bree’s frustration towards Remi as she feels he has broken their promise of honesty by lying about his motorbike. Remi attempts to repair their relationship, but Bree is adamant that he must get rid of the bike for things to work between them. However, Remi is hesitant to let go of his passion for riding, creating a stalemate between the two.

Tane finds himself under scrutiny as his motives for being by the baby’s side are questioned. Harper shares an article from Coastal News with him, which causes tension between them. The same journalist who wrote the article gets a tip about Tane’s presence at the hospital and confronts him, leading to an argument. Rose, wanting to protect those involved, sends the journalist away and thanks Tane. However, she later expresses her displeasure with the situation, indicating that Tane’s presence is no longer welcome.

Elsewhere, Alf remains frustrated by the negative media attention surrounding Tane. He is relieved when Roo confirms that the Coastal News will reprimand the journalist responsible for the article. During their conversation, they come across a bracelet with the name “Poppy” engraved on it, which they believe could be the baby’s real name. They show it to Rose, who accepts it as potential evidence but remains sceptical. Harper and Tane weigh in on the discovery, with Harper convinced that it’s a sign from the mother, but Tane vehemently disagrees, believing that if the mother cared, she would have shown up.
