On Wednesday, May 1, Live with Kelly and Mark welcomes Cristo Fernández, who will chat about joining the cast of “Acapulco” for its newest season. Fernández, a Mexican actor and filmmaker, began his professional career as a soccer player before transitioning into acting.
He is known for his role as Dani Rojas in the award-winning series “Ted Lasso,” for which he received the Rising Star Award from the Critics Choice Association. Fernández will portray an artist and community organizer in “Acapulco.”
In addition to “Acapulco,” Fernández has also been cast in the Disney+ film “Alexander 2,” a reimagining of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.” He will play the role of Chavo, a chef who meets the Garcia family on their road trip.
Live with Kelly and Mark airs Wednesday April 1, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. on ABC.
