On Wednesday, May 1, The Kelly Clarkson Show welcomes actor and comedian Jim Gaffigan and actor Justice Smith as guests. The episode also includes a Kelly Extra segment with Jennifer Garner and a musical performance by Scotty McCreery.

Jim Gaffigan, known for his clean comedy routines, has had a successful career as a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He has released several Grammy-nominated comedy specials, including “Mr. Universe,” “Obsessed,” “Cinco,” and “Quality Time.” Gaffigan has also authored two books: “Dad Is Fat” and “Food: A Love Story.” In addition to his comedic work, Gaffigan has appeared in various films, such as “Chappaquiddick,” “American Dreamer,” and “Luca.”

Justice Smith, born in 1995, is an American actor who rose to fame with roles in “The Get Down,” “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” “Pokémon: Detective Pikachu,” and “All the Bright Places.” Smith has also appeared in Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans” and the Off-Broadway production of “Yen.” They will likely discuss their recent projects, including the 2023 film “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.”

The show will also feature a Kelly Extra segment with Jennifer Garner, who recently celebrated her 52nd birthday and hosted a virtual reunion for her “13 Going on 30” costars.

Scotty McCreery, an American country singer and winner of the tenth season of “American Idol,” will perform on the show. McCreery has had multiple number-one hits, including “Five More Minutes,” “This Is It,” and “In Between.” He has released several albums, including “Clear as Day,” “Christmas with Scotty McCreery,” and “See You Tonight.” His most recent album, Same Truck, was released in 2021.
