On Wednesday May 15, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos welcome Michelle Buteau and Nicola Coughlan to the show.
Michelle Buteau, an American stand-up comedian, actress, and television host, joins the show to discuss her latest film, Babes, a pregnancy comedy co-starring Ilana Glazer. Buteau portrays Dawn, a married mother of two, whose best friend, Eden, played by Glazer, becomes pregnant after a one-night stand. The film explores the complexities of their friendship as they navigate the challenges of motherhood and their changing lives. Buteau is known for her roles in Isn’t It Romantic and Always Be My Maybe, as well as her Netflix series Survival of the Thickest.
Nicola Coughlan, an Irish actress, will talk about her role as Penelope Featherington in the popular Netflix period drama Bridgerton. Coughlan’s character, the youngest of the Featherington daughters, is a reluctant debutante in Regency-era London. Coughlan has also appeared in Channel 4’s sitcom Derry Girls and the film Barbie, and will star in the well received new Channel 4 sitcom Big Mood.
