In this episode, airing on WE tv at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024, Rob drops a bombshell on Tennie, Ayonna confronts both incarceration and her mother’s anger, Rick’s family worries about his relationship with his incarcerated high school sweetheart, and Shonta’s accusations against her brother spark questions of trust.
Shonta accuses her brother of stealing $5,000 from her and questions what he might be hiding about her fiancé, True. Shonta is deeply committed to her fiancé, True, despite never having met him in person. She has gone to great lengths to be with him, including relocating her family to another state and taking on significant financial burdens, such as spending over $30,000 and taking on two mortgages. However, Shonta has not attempted to visit True in prison during their two years together.
Rick, a 49-year-old motorcycle club member, and Raydean, a 29-year-old inmate, share a complex and unconventional love story. The two met when Raydean was dating one of Rick’s club members. They went on three dates before she disappeared. It was later revealed that Raydean was arrested and sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug possession.
Rick and Raydean reconnected when she reached out to him from prison, and their bond grew through letters, phone calls, and visits. Despite their 20-year age gap and Raydean’s incarceration, their relationship flourished, and they planned for a future together upon her release. However, Rick was unaware that Raydean had developed a romantic relationship with another woman, Kay, while in prison. This love triangle, along with Raydean’s desire to stay with her parents, created tension and uncertainty in their relationship.
