Parish, April 22, 2024, AMC, “Impimpi”
Parish, the intense crime drama starring Giancarlo Esposito, returns with its fourth episode, “Impimpi,” airing on AMC on Sunday April 21.
Based on the BBC One series “The Driver,” Parish follows the life of Gray Parish, a former getaway driver turned family man, whose life takes a tragic turn with the violent murder of his son. This pivotal event sets Gray on a path of vengeance, forcing him to revisit his criminal past.
In “Impimpi,” Gray faces a formidable challenge. His association with the Tongais, a powerful Zimbabwean crime family, is exposed when Anton, an old colleague, discovers his secret. Anton presents Gray with an impossible choice: he must decide between his loyalty to his family or his allegiance to the ruthless leader of the Tongais, known as The Horse.
The episode explores the impact of Gray’s decision on those closest to him. His wife, Rose, and daughter, Makayla, find themselves in a perilous situation, forced to unite and navigate dangerous territory to ensure their survival. Meanwhile, The Horse, suspecting a traitor within his ranks, embarks on a mission to root out the disloyal member of his organization.
With its roots in the acclaimed BBC series and a talented ensemble cast, Parish delves into the complex world of crime and morality. The series is created by Danny Brocklehurst, Sunu Gonera, and Theo Travers, and stars Giancarlo Esposito as Gray Parish, Zackary Momoh as The Horse, Paula Malcomson as Rose, and Arica Himmel as Makayla.
Parish continues to deliver a gripping narrative, exploring the consequences of Gray’s return to his criminal roots and the impact it has on his family.
Parish: Impimpi airs on AMC at 9.00 pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024.
