Michael and Ashley, who met while studying at Texas A&M University at Galveston, have become well-known for their unique approach to home renovation. Their company, Save1900, was founded with the mission to restore and preserve historic homes in Galveston, particularly those built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The name Save1900 pays homage to the hurricane that nearly wiped out the city in 1900.
The Cordrays’ own journey into parenthood has influenced their design choices for their new home. In March 2023, they welcomed their third daughter, Emory, joining big sisters Elle and Emma. The couple has expressed their joy in watching their family grow and has been grateful for the opportunity to include their children in their renovation journey, both on the show and in their personal lives.
