Saving Lives at Sea, 9 April 2024, BBC Two, “Caught Out”
In this episode of Saving Lives at Sea, the RNLI crews face a range of emergencies as they continue their selfless work of saving lives around the UK coasts. In Portishead, on the Severn Estuary, a man’s leap from a party boat turns into a serious incident. The RNLI crew rush to the scene, facing the challenge of rescuing the man from the water and providing any necessary medical assistance.
On the south coast of Cornwall, the Lizard crew receive an urgent call. Four people are stranded on rapidly submerging rocks, and the crew must race against time to reach them before they are engulfed by the rising tide.
Meanwhile, in Fowey, a video clip arrives at the lifeboat station, showing a yacht in danger of breaking up on the rocks. With no one apparently on board, the crew must act swiftly to prevent a potential tragedy.
