The CW’s Sight Unseen returns with a new episode, “Matt,” which sees Dolly Lewis’ Tess Avery, a former homicide detective living with vision impairment, resuming her duties with the Metro PD as a police consultant. Tess and her tech partner, Agam Darshi’s Sunny Patel, an agoraphobic seeing-eye guide, take on their first “on the books” case together.
The pair investigate the murder of one of Jarod Joseph’s Matt Alleyne’s colleagues, found dead in the college pool where Tess swims. As they delve into the mystery surrounding the swim coach’s death and the dynamics within the Olympic-grade swim team, they discover they were on opposite ends of the popularity scale in school. Alice Christina-Corrigan’s Mia Moss lends her unexpected skills to the case, and a shaken Matt sees a new side of Tess, leading to an unexpected moment between them.
Meanwhile, Sunny faces her own challenges as she desperately seeks help with a DIY job gone wrong. She reluctantly lets Ennis Esmer’s Kye, her concierge and possible love interest, into her apartment, reawakening her past fears.
“Matt” was directed by Sharon Lewis.
Sight Unseen: Matt airs on The CW at 9.00 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
