The Hotel Inspector returns with a new episode on Channel 5, airing Thursday, May 23, 2024. In this installment, titled “Fraser’s,” Alex Polizzi comes to the aid of a family business run by sisters Georgie and Frankie.
Based in the quaint Essex village of Battlesbridge, the establishment includes a six-bedroom guest house, tea rooms, and an events business, all within the grounds of the family’s antiques business, established in the early 1970s by the sisters’ grandmother, Sheila. Living off less than minimum wage, the sisters have struggled to keep the business afloat for the past five years and are running out of options.
Alex sees the potential to transform this struggling venture and focuses on weddings as a key area for improvement, as they are currently only hosting three weddings per year and not making a sufficient margin.
The Hotel Inspector is a long-running reality series that first premiered on Channel 5 in 2005. Hosted by hotelier and business owner Alex Polizzi. With Alex’s guidance, struggling hotels, guesthouses, and B&Bs across the country have been given a new lease of life.
