The Talk, airing on Friday April 19 on CBS, welcomes actress, director, writer, and producer Alison Brie, and entrepreneur and executive Emma Grede to the show.

Brie, known for her roles in “Community,” “Mad Men,” “GLOW,” and “Bojack Horseman,” will discuss her latest projects, including the limited series “Apples Never Fall,” which premiered on March 14, 2024. In “Apples Never Fall,” Brie portrays one of four adult children whose seemingly contented family is turned upside down when their mother goes missing, forcing them to re-examine their parents’ marriage and family history. Brie can also be seen in the horror film “Together,” which she co-wrote and produced with her husband, Dave Franco.

Emma Grede, a British businesswoman, fashion designer, and CEO, is the co-founder of Good American, a denim company focused on size inclusivity and body positivity. She is also a founding partner of Skims, a shapewear brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian and her husband, Jens Grede. Additionally, Grede is the co-founder and chief product officer of Safely, a brand of plant-based cleaning and self-care products. Grede has been recognized for her advocacy of diversity and inclusive representation in the fashion industry and her work with The Fifteen Percent Pledge, an initiative to allocate 15% of shelf space to Black-owned businesses.
