The Today Show presents a diverse range of segments on NBC on Friday, April 19, offering viewers practical tips, the latest trends, and engaging conversations.

Chef Lovely, a Chicago native and owner of Lovely Eats, shares supermarket hacks to stretch your dollar. Lovely, a Culinary Specialist at Bloomingdale’s Century City, is a former contestant on “Hell’s Kitchen” and has cooked for various celebrities. She is also an ambassador for former First Lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” initiative.

The show welcomes Antoinette Montague, an American jazz and blues singer, and CEO of Jazz Woman to the Rescue. Montague, the youngest of seven children, grew up in a musical household, listening to artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and Louis Armstrong. She has performed internationally with orchestras and is an adjunct professor teaching jazz and blues singing, as well as history and stage presence.

Patrice J. Williams, a New York City-based affordable fashion and lifestyle expert, will offer tips on sneakers that complement any look. Williams, a freelance writer, has contributed to publications like InStyle, All You, Essence, and others. She is also the author of the book “Looking Fly on a Dime.”

Dr. Jen Caudle, a board-certified family medicine physician and associate professor at Rowan University, will provide insights on medical supplies and medicines to throw out, keep, or buy new.

The show also features Joy Bauer, a health and nutrition expert on The Today Show and the host of “Health & Happiness.” Bauer, a New York Times bestselling author, will discuss her book Superfood! and share a superfood quiz with viewers.

Gail Simmons, a Canadian culinary expert, author, and television personality, joins the show to present a Passover brisket with braised vegetables and horseradish dressing. Simmons, a permanent judge on Bravo’s Emmy-winning series “Top Chef,” has authored several books, including “Talking With My Mouth Full: My Life as a Professional Eater” and “Bringing It Home: Favorite Recipes from a Life of Adventurous Eating.”
