A brand new episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airs on NBC on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 11:35 p.m./10:35 p.m. CT. The episode features actor Jeremy Renner, comedian and impressionist Jay Pharoah, and a musical performance by folk-rock band The Avett Brothers.

In January 2023, Renner was involved in a severe snowplow accident, suffering 38 broken bones and severe chest trauma. He has since recovered and returned to his work, including his role in the Paramount+ series “Mayor of Kingstown.”

Jay Pharoah, born Jared Antonio Farrow on October 14, 1987, in Chesapeake, Virginia, is a talented stand-up comedian and actor. He rose to prominence as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live” from 2010 to 2016, where he became known for his uncanny celebrity impressions, including Barack Obama, Will Smith, and Jay-Z.

The Avett Brothers, an American folk-rock band, was formed in Concord, North Carolina, by siblings Scott and Seth Avett, Bob Crawford, and Joe Kwon. Their unique sound blends bluegrass, country, punk, pop, and indie rock influences.
