The defence then shifts its focus to Diane, Kate’s sister and Claire’s mother. The defence attorney probes Diane’s belief in her sister’s innocence, suggesting that she suspects Kate of wrongdoing. Garry faces pressure from Otto, Georgina finds a babysitting solution with Simon’s daughter, Ava, and Peter and Margaret’s date ends in disappointment. Additionally, the episode takes an unexpected turn when one of the jurors, Melissa, suffers a seizure, bringing an abrupt halt to the proceedings.
