On the Thursday May 30 episode of ‘The Young and the Restless,’ Diane draws a line regarding Jack’s role as Nikki’s sponsor. She feels sidelined by Jack’s recent choices, which include ignoring her concerns and endangering his life. Despite her reluctance to leave, Diane refuses to witness Jack succumb to an overdose. Jack concedes, agreeing that Nikki needs a different sponsor.

Meanwhile, a nervous Summer inundates Claire with rules as she leaves Harrison in her care. Kyle and Harrison assure Summer that everything will be fine, and Kyle suggests that this arrangement could be a positive reset for everyone.

In Paris, Tucker confronts Audra about her plans to meet with Glissade representatives, questioning how their relationship deteriorated. Tucker expresses his willingness to commit, but Audra doubts his ability to prioritize her. After their tense exchange, Tucker warns Audra to stay away from Glissade. Ashley, accompanied by Traci and Alan, returns to her Paris apartment, battling internal voices. Afraid to sleep, she asks Traci to stay by her side and keep watch.

Tucker encounters a man who looks identical to Alan on the streets of Paris, but the man doesn’t recognize him and hurries away. Later, Alan returns to Ashley’s apartment, dressed in his usual refined style. Alan attempts to help Ashley recall the events after her argument with Tucker, but she remembers very little. Traci confirms the timeline, but Alan is confused, having been in Florence at the time. The stage is set for a potential twin revelation as the man Tucker met may be Alan’s evil doppelganger.
