WWE's Most Wanted Treasures

WWE’s Most Wanted Treasures, airing on A&E on Sunday 5 May, will pay tribute to former Treasures lead, Triple H.

Born Paul Levesque but best known by his ring name, Triple H, is a 14-time world champion. His career in sports entertainment spans decades, and he is regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Triple H began his wrestling career in 1992, initially wrestling under the ring name Terra Ryzing. He joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1994 and was soon repackaged as a French-Canadian aristocrat named Jean-Paul Lévesque. In 1995, he signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and became known as Hunter Hearst Helmsley, later shortened to Triple H.

After winning his first WWF Championship in 1999, he became a fixture of the company’s main event scene. In addition to his 14 world championships, he has won numerous other titles, including five Intercontinental Championships and three World Tag Team Championships.

Outside of the ring, Triple H is known for his marriage to Stephanie McMahon, daughter of former WWE chairman Vince McMahon. He suffered from heart failure in September 2021 and officially retired from in-ring competition in April 2022.
