Goldsmith, a man with a passion for motorcycles and the open road, dreamed of becoming a Hells Angel. He found his calling in the roar of a Harley, and his life took an extraordinary turn. His journey into the Hells Angels was marked by a sense of camaraderie and adventure. Goldsmith survived not one but two wars with rival biker gangs, solidifying his place within the organization. However, his expectations of the club and its ideals of “brotherhood” were ultimately shattered.

In 2008, Goldsmith found himself at the center of a violent confrontation. Surveillance footage captured him leading an assault on rival gang members, the Mongols, during a wedding at a downtown chapel in Las Vegas. This incident resulted in criminal charges and a prison sentence for Goldsmith, who pleaded guilty to battery with substantial bodily harm and coercion. The attack also led to his expulsion from the Hells Angels after he made a statement to the Las Vegas police.

In his autobiography, “Brotherhood: The Greatest Lie Ever Told,” Goldsmith shares his perspective on the events that unfolded. He writes about his time as a leader within different chapters of the Hells Angels and how his expectations of brotherhood and shared values among members were not met.
