Ain’t Misbehavin’ (ITV Drama, Robson Green, Jerome Flynn)

Period comedy drama serial Ain’t Misbehavin’ starred Robson Green as Eric Trapp and Jeromne Flynn as Eddie Wallace, a pair of singers in a dance band during World War II. Trouble starts when they tangle with some less than friendly gangsters.

Robson and Jerome had rose to stardom as part of the cast of popular ITV drama Soldier Soldier before embarking on a pop career. This three parter was written by Bob Larbey minus his usual co-writer John Esmonde. The supporting cast was excellent too, including as it did the likes of Warren Mitchell, Jane Lapotaire, musician George Melly, Jim Carter and James Cosmo.
