In Channel 4 sitcom Dream Stuffing Jude (Rachael Weaver) and Mo (Amanda Symonds) are two young single women navigating the reality of life in 1980’s Britain. The pair share a flat in dodgy council high rise in the East End of London. Initially Mo has a job working at a glass eye factory but is quickly made redundant.
Other regulars included Richard (Ray Burdis) and Brenda (Caroline Quentin) who worked with Mo at the factory. May (Maria Charles) ran the launderette the girls used and Mrs Trudge (Helen Bramer) was the DHSS looking after their attempts to get a job.
Dream Stuffing was legendary producer Humphrey Barclay’s first show under his own production company banner.
