Helen West (ITV Crime Drama, Amanda Burton)

In this short run crime drama series Helen West (Amanda Burton) works for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) deciding whether cases should be prosecuted in court. Helen is never afraid of getting personally involved in her troubling and usually gruesome cases. In true maverick style she also has a dodgy home life involved as she is in an off-on relationship with copper Chief Superintendent Bailey (played by Conor Mullen).

Based on the novels by Frances Fyfield only three feature length episodes were made. Prominent guest stars included Martin Freeman, Abigail Cruttenden, Julie T. Wallace, Annabelle Apsion, Rita Tushingham, Dermot Crowley and Anthony Howell (of Foyle’s War).
