Just Liz (ITV Sitcom, Sandra Payne, Rodney Bewes)

ITV sitcom Just Liz, one of John Esmonde and Bob Larbey’s lesser known works, Liz Parker (Sandra Payne) has to cope alone after her fiancee goes to work in Bahrain to earn enough money for them to get married. Luckily travel agency work colleague Reg Last (Rodney Bewes) was on hand to offer support.

The lovely Sandra Payne was the fifth wife of film legend Roy Boulting who was 30 years her senior and she had previously been married to Alan Jay Lerner (who was also 26 years older than her).
