Teen drama series The Squad focused on a group of young cadets undergoing police training. Each of the cadets – especially Alan Martin, George Booker, Jogger Cummins and Sandra Henley had to take part in various community work as they learnt the policing ropes. Naturally this is where most of the drama stemmed from.
Writers on the series were the high quality likes of John Kershaw, Paula Milne, Roy Russell, Simon Masters, William Humble, Barry Purchase and James Follett.
