In one off ITV thriller The Perfect Parents, Stuart (Christopher Eccleston) and Alison (Susannah Harker) are fed up with the poor standard of discipline at their daughter’s school and look around for alternatives. The catholic school seems ideal – the only trouble being they are not of that faith. They devise a plan to pretend to be catholic and bribe a local priest to recommend them – a path that leads ultimately to blackmail and murder.
