Rhodes (BBC-1 1996, Martin Shaw, Frances Barber)

Period drama serial Rhodes told the life story of controversial adventurer Cecil Rhodes and his involvement with the Diamond Mine industry in South Africa. A much hyped (and very expensive) serial that never fulfilled it’s potential.

Martin’s real life son Joe co-starred as young Cecil.
