Sitcom Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps took us to Runcorn, a small town in the North of England, where five late teens/early twenty somethings are determined to enjoy their youth.

The main characters were Donna (Natalie Casey), Louise (Kathryn Drysdale), Jonny (Ralf Little), Gaz (Will Mellor) and Janet (Sheridan Smith).

On 23 December 2003 there was a musical episode revealing the events of the night Janet and Jonny first met with the characters bursting into song at every opportunity.
