In The Guilt Beneath The Gingerbread the upcoming share issue is proving to be a major strain for all concerned, the men are still causing a fuss about getting paid extra and some of the board members are convinced that Bill Riley is not doing all he could to quieten things down. Meanwhile Brian is in serious trouble over the car accident and the police are looking for a charge of dangerous driving.

Brian is feeling the pressure, there is the slight risk of a prison sentence hanging over his head should the police push for the dangerous driving charge, there is some interesting gossip mongering going on by Gwen Riley too who is very quick to spill the beans to Mary about the mess Brian has got himself into.
