60 Minutes Tonight Sunday November 13 on CBS; THE SURFSIDE MYSTERY – In Surfside, Florida, last summer, a 12-story beachfront condominium collapsed, killing 98 people. Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused it. Older condos in Florida will need to undergo mandatory inspections under recently passed laws, and their millions of owners will soon need to set aside sizable sums of money for potential repairs. Hundreds of thousands of Floridians’ access to condo living is expected to be impacted by the disaster, according to Sharyn Alfonsi’s report on the federal and local investigations. PAPER BRIGADE – During and after the Holocaust, a group of resistance fighters risked their lives to save a treasure trove of Jewish artefacts, according to Jon Wertheim’s report from Lithuania. In Vilnius, where hidden materials are still being discovered, a search and rescue mission is currently in progress, 80 years after their heroics began. Julie Holstein is the producer.

SONA AND THE KORA – Sona Jobarteh, the first female virtuoso kora player, is profiled by Lesley Stahl. The kora is a centuries-old instrument from West Africa. It has 21 strings and is compared to a harp, lute, and guitar. The kora is a component of a musical tradition in West Africa that is only passed down from father to son. Jobarteh, a 39-year-old woman descended from one of those griot families; her parents were Gambians and Britons, contends that by bucking tradition, she is keeping it alive, and she has found acceptance in The Gambia, the most difficult place of all, thanks to a hit song that has unofficially become the national anthem.
