Series: Shoestring / Season 2 Episode 8
When a couple have all their furniture stolen in the episode Another Man’s Castle what at first seems to be a simple case of burglary soon turns out to be something a whole lot more sinister. When a TV stolen from the couple turns up at a local market Eddie discovers links to former boxer turned property developer Terry Bowen who it seems has moved into the holiday cottage business and doesn’t want anyone stopping him from increasing his portfolio.
Great guest appearance from the always excellent John Forgeham (who excels at these type of villainous roles), the actual plot is pretty slight but there is a nice bit of business with Eddie being forced to sleep on his boat because Erica is expecting her ex-husband to turn up (part of the settlement with regards to the house was that she wouldn’t sublet it).
