The semi-final will be hosted by Clara Amfo, and the three surviving creatives will confront their most challenging Drop yet. They create a whole new item and meet with a factory owner in order to negotiate the best possible price for mass manufacturing.
Astonished when two creatives fail to get a fair price for the manufacture of their concepts, head judge Miguel calls into question the validity of their participation in the competition.
Once the transactions are completed, they will find out whether their current design is a hit by opening the cash registers for a genuine Drop at the shop that will shortly carry the winner’s collection. When you just have the items on the racks for a few short hours, it’s a tough call as to who has what it takes to raise their brand to the next level and win the competition.
In an attempt to attract consumers, the creatives create an advertisement and also uncover which of their products was purchased by the guest judge, Headie One, throughout the competition.
