A simple but brilliantly executed piece of slapstick from Only Fools and Horses in which Derek (David Jason) and Trigger (Roger Lloyd-Pack) were in an upmarket bar attempting to be cool yuppies when the barman lifted the lid of the bar, where Del had been casually leaning, and walked out.
Del returned to his former position and, as rigid as a telegraph pole, fell straight through. Trigger’s face was one of supreme gormlessness, improved on only by Del’s desperate attempt to preserve some dignity in his recovery.
Best of all is the pay off of Del claiming they have to leave as Trigger is cramping his style.
