On Tuesday, April 30, CBS Mornings welcomes Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton, New York Times columnist Frank Bruni, and co-authors Emmanuel Acho and Noa Tishby to the show.

Hamilton, a seven-time Formula One World Drivers’ Champion, joins co-host Gayle King to discuss his racing career and his recent announcement that he will be leaving the Mercedes team at the end of the 2024 season to join Ferrari in 2025. Hamilton, who began karting at the age of eight, has become the first and only Black driver to race in Formula One. In addition to his success on the track, he has been praised for his activism in support of combating racism and increasing diversity in motorsport.

Frank Bruni, a contributing Opinion writer for the New York Times, will be on the show to talk about his latest book, “The Age of Grievance.” Bruni, who joined the New York Times in 1995, has written four New York Times bestsellers, including “The Beauty of Dusk,” a reflection on illness, aging, and optimism. He has also served as a White House correspondent and the chief restaurant critic for the publication.
