Jeopardy! Recap, Winner and Today’s Final Answer Wednesday April 10, 2024
Jeopardy! resumed its regular programming on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, with a fresh episode introducing three contestants: Daniel Rosenberg, a lawyer from New York; Lee Wilkins, a regulatory affairs coordinator from Auburn, Alabama; and Lucas Partridge, a school counselor from Las Vegas, who entered the game as a three-day champion with total winnings of $66,200.
The first round presented an eclectic mix of categories, including “Slangin’ with Mr. Jennings,” “Music Terms,” “Major League Baseball,” “Flag Time!,” “Ask Forgiveness,” and “Not Persimmon.” Daniel Rosenberg demonstrated his knowledge in the “Major League Baseball” category by successfully answering the Daily Double question, doubling his score to $3,200. The first break revealed a close competition, with Lucas leading at $200, Daniel at $3,800, and Lee facing a negative score of -$1,800.
As the game progressed into Double Jeopardy!, the categories took a diverse turn with “The 6 Mothers-in-Law of Henry VIII,” “It’s a Fact,” “‘70s TV Drama,” “State Capital Rivers,” “Books & Authors,” and “Does That Ring a ‘Bell’?“. Daniel maintained his momentum by correctly answering the first Daily Double question in the “It’s a Fact” category, tying with Lucas for the lead at $5,200. However, Daniel further extended his lead by responding accurately to the second Daily Double question in the “The 6 Mothers-in-Law of Henry VIII” category, adding $1,600 to his score.
The game witnessed a plethora of Triple Stumpers and unanswered clues, resulting in a low-scoring affair. Nonetheless, Lucas managed to regain some ground, entering Final Jeopardy! with a slight lead of $7,600, closely followed by Daniel at $7,200 and Lee at $5,200.
The Final Jeopardy! category, “Animated Film Characters,” stumped all three contestants with: In this 2017 film Dante is a hairless breed known as a Xolo dog and its response of What is “Coco? Lee Wilkins, despite having the lowest score, emerged as the winner with a final tally of $2,200, while Lucas and Daniel finished with zero dollars.
