Strictly Come Dancing 2024 Dancers and Judges Announced, Giovanni Pernice Exits

Strictly Come Dancing

Dancing competition series Strictly Come Dancing is returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn, and the 2024 series is set to be a spectacular celebration of the show’s 20th anniversary. Presented by the inimitable duo of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, Strictly Come Dancing will once again deliver glittering performances, dazzling choreography, and unforgettable entertainment.

The judging panel for this milestone series will feature the fantastic four: Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel-Horwood, and Anton Du Beke, bringing their expertise and unique perspectives to the ballroom. And at the heart of it all, the talented professional dancers will take centre stage, showcasing their extraordinary skills and creativity.

This year’s professional dancer lineup includes fan favorites such as Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, and Nikita Kuzmin. They will be joined by Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, and newcomers Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas, and Vito Coppola, who are sure to bring fresh energy and talent to the dance floor.

One notable absentee from the dancing lineup for 2024 is Giovanni Pernice. Pernice, known for his sharp choreography and smooth charm, has been at the centre of escalating complaints about his behaviour and training methods. As a result, he will not be a part of the professional dancer lineup for the upcoming 2024 series.

As always, Strictly Come Dancing’s music will be provided by Dave Arch and his band. The series will also feature theme weeks and the highly anticipated trip to the iconic Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
