Teen First Dates, April 10, 2024, E4, “Series 3 Episode 6”
In a brand new episode of Teen First Dates, Fred Sirieix and his dedicated matchmakers play Cupid once more, opening the restaurant doors to a group of young singles aged 16 to 19 who are navigating the exciting yet daunting world of dating.
Among this episode’s loveseekers is 17-year-old Harry, a self-described “gentle giant” standing at an impressive six feet four inches. Despite his commanding presence in the air cadets, Harry feels his social awkwardness has hindered his romantic endeavors. He is paired with 16-year-old Isobel, who also struggles with confidence issues. As they embark on their date, the question looms: will they be able to overcome their shyness and find a spark of connection?
Nineteen-year-old Isla, a university student and competitive swimmer, embodies a resilient spirit, having grown up with cerebral palsy. She embraces life to the fullest and is determined to find love. Isla is matched with 18-year-old Willoughby, a fellow cerebral palsy warrior and a talented footballer for the Norwich disability team. Willoughby, however, jokingly refers to himself as the “CEO of getting friend-zoned.” Their date explores whether they can transcend friendship and find romantic chemistry, and if Willoughby can keep up with Isla’s “work hard, play hard” lifestyle.
Eighteen-year-old Angel, embarking on her very first date, attributes her lack of dating experience to her high standards and admits that many things give her the “ick.” She is paired with James, a biomedical science student, part-time model, and TikToker. They discover common ground in their fashion sense and mutual dislike of skinny jeans, but the question remains: will Angel’s biggest “ick” be a deal-breaker for James?
The episode also introduces 16-year-old dancer Abigail and 17-year-old Evie, a college student and Bradford City teen star. Evie worries that her youthful appearance might be the reason she’s still single. As they bond over their shared love for Mamma Mia!, viewers are left wondering if their date will ignite a romantic flame or remain platonic.
Teen First Dates captures the raw and relatable moments of young love, showcasing the excitement, nerves, and self-discovery that come with putting oneself out there. It offers a glimpse into the lives of teens navigating the complex world of romance, with Fred Sirieix and his team facilitating these potentially life-changing encounters.
Teen First Dates airs on E4 at 9:00 pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
