As the auction progresses, Simon reveals a personal connection to a charity, adding an emotional layer to his selling motive. The audience is left wondering if the furniture will fetch a price that satisfies his charitable intentions.

Jane, the fourth seller, has an early 20th-century purse with a fascinating history. Inherited from her grandmother, the purse is believed to have been in Jane’s family for decades. Armed with valuable insights from expert Simon, Jane aims to impress the dealers and secure a profitable deal for her vintage accessory.

The episode concludes with father-son duo Sam and ten-year-old Max, avid auction-goers themselves. They present a vintage dentist lamp purchased for only £8, hoping to fund their next restoration project. While host Nigel Havers expresses his dentist-phobic sentiments, Sam and Max remain optimistic that the unique lamp will find favor among the dealers.
