The Today Show, airing on Thursday April 18 on NBC, welcomes a diverse range of guests, including actor Orlando Bloom, actress Sandra Oh, actor Hoa Xuande, actress Jurnee Smollett, chef Mario Carbone, and psychiatrist Dr. Samantha Boardman.

Orlando Bloom, the English actor known for his roles in “The Lord of the Rings” and “Pirates of the Caribbean,” will discuss his upcoming tv series, “Orlando Bloom: To the Edge,” releasing on Peacock on April 18.

Sandra Oh, the Canadian-American actress, will join the show to talk about her illustrious career, including her roles in “Arliss,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Killing Eve,” for which she received numerous accolades. Oh, the first actress of Asian descent to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, continues to break barriers and inspire audiences worldwide.

Hoa Xuande, an Australian actor of Vietnamese descent, will discuss his upcoming lead role in the HBO/A24 television series “The Sympathizer.” Xuande, who first pursued journalism and odd jobs, eventually found his calling in acting. He adopted the stage name “Xuande” to increase his chances of landing roles as an actor of Asian descent in Australia.

Jurnee Smollett, an award-winning actress and activist, rose to prominence with her role in the critically acclaimed “Lovecraft Country.” Smollett has also appeared in “The Great Debaters,” “Underground,” and “Birds of Prey.” She will discuss her latest projects and share her journey as an actress and advocate.

Mario Carbone, a renowned chef, will showcase his culinary skills by preparing two delicious Italian-American dishes: Chicken Parmesan and Spicy Vodka Rigatoni. Carbone, a co-founder of Major Food Group, has received numerous accolades, including being named Best New Chef in America by Food & Wine Magazine.

Dr. Samantha Boardman, a New York-based psychiatrist, will offer insights on stress management and promoting well-being. With her unique approach, Boardman combines her medical expertise with positive psychology to help individuals find strength within their struggles.
