The Traitors UK: Who Won This Epic Second Series
In a dramatic conclusion to the second series of “The Traitors UK,” Traitor Harry emerged as the winner, taking home the entire £95,150 prize money. In a final face-off with Faithful Mollie, Harry managed to outmanoeuvre her and claim the cash for himself. Harry played an incredible game right from the beginning, a traitor from day one he managed to charm everyone and played incredibly well in all of the missions. He was a worthy winner.
Leading up to this intense finale, Faithful Evie was the first contestant voted off followed by Traitor Andrew. In an increasingly tense atmosphere, Faithful Jaz was eliminated in a nail-biting last vote. This left Harry as the sole remaining Traitor and ultimate victor of the game.
The final episode began with all five players embarking on a helicopter ride to a rocky outcrop. Host Claudia Winkleman revealed that they had 60 minutes to raise flags across different locations on both land and boat, adding £20,000 to their overall prize fund. With just seconds left on the clock, they successfully completed this challenge and secured an additional £20,000.
Returning from their adrenaline-filled adventure back to base camp where they faced each other at a round table discussion in anticipation of what lay ahead. Claudia informed them that they must banish at least one player from amongst themselves. Ultimately receiving four votes from fellow contestants resulted in Evie being eliminated – she was of course part of Team Faithful.
With two Traitors and two remaining Faithfuls now vying for victory after Evie’s elimination, another vote took place which saw Andrew ousted with three votes against him – disclosing his own traitorous allegiance.
The trio still standing then faced an important decision: whether or not to end the game or proceed with another round of voting. While Mollie and Harry favoured ending the game Jaz decided to throw a red pouch into the fire signifying that he wanted to banish again.
In the final vote, Jaz and Harry cast their votes against each other, leaving Mollie with the pivotal casting vote that ultimately sent Jaz home. She really struggled to make up her mind and actually wrote Harry’s name down before changing it for Jaz which meant there was one Traitor and one Faithful left. The questionable rationale behind this choice is underscored by considering that if Jaz were indeed a Traitor he would surely have preferred ending the game rather than prolonging it.
“The Traitors UK” airs on BBC One and iPlayer, and applications for the next series are already open online. Additionally, fans can look forward to a special reunion show airing soon on BBC Two.
