The Voice, April 22, 2024, NBC, “The Playoffs Premiere”
The Voice returns with an exciting new episode, “The Playoffs Premiere,” airing on NBC on April 22. Coaches John Legend, Dan + Shay, Chance the Rapper, and Reba McEntire enlist the help of superstar mentors as their remaining artists give it their all during the Playoffs. With no steals available, the competition intensifies as each coach can only advance three artists to the Live Shows.
The Voice Season 25, which premiered on February 26, 2024, marks a landmark for the long-running singing competition series. The season introduced the show’s first-ever coaching duo, Dan + Shay, alongside returning coaches John Legend, Reba McEntire, and Chance the Rapper.
The Playoffs mark a competitive phase in the show’s five-stage competition. Each coach will narrow down their team from five artists to just three, who will advance to the Live Shows. This season, the artists face even more pressure as there are no steals available, and the coaches have introduced mentors to further intensify the competition.
With only three spots available for each team, the coaches will have to make tough decisions and carefully deliberate to select the most deserving and promising talents to advance to the Live Shows.
The Voice: The Playoffs Premiere airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. ET on NBC.
