Bulldog Breed (ITV Sitcom, Donald Churchill, Amanda Barrie)

In sitcom Bulldog Breed Tom Bowler (Donald Churchill) has the knack of managing to cause chaos wherever he goes.

Tom’s girlfriend is the dizzy Sandra (Amanda Barrie) and his best friend is Billy (Geoffrey Whitehead). Meanwhile his parents are played by Peter Butterworth and Betty Huntley-Wright.

The series was given the accolade of a TV Times cover for the week of it’s premiere. In a small feature on the show in the magazine Donald Churchill remarked that Tom was not malicious but couldn’t take life seriously.
