Chambers (BBC-1 2000-2001, Sarah Lancashire, John Bird)

Chambers was a sitcom set in a legal office with satiricist John Bird heading a great cast. Bird plays the unscrupulous barrister John Fuller-Carp. He is joined by Sarah Lancashire as Ruth Quirke, a high-flier who desperately wants a man. The BBC will be hoping Chambers is another Radio 4 series that makes a successful transition to TV.

The show was based on a successful radio 4 show, this however, appeared without anyone really noticing.
