Claire (BBC-1 1982, Lynn Farleigh, William Gaunt)

Drama series that focused on teenager Claire Terson who, having spent much of her life in a children’s home, is fostered by Pam and Tony Hunter, but all three (as well as teenage son Robert) find the adjustment difficult.

Claire, feeling unsettled, rebels against her new environment and at the same time develops nascent feelings for Robert. Meanwhile the Hunter’s marriage hits trouble when Tony begins an affair.
