Game, The (BBC-2 2014, Tom Hughes, Brian Cox)

Period spy drama The Game is set in 1972 when MI5 agent Joe Lambe learns from a defecting KGB officer that the Soviets are about to unleash a deadly plot on the UK.

This sepia toned, nicotine stained drama will resonate with anyone familiar with the world of John Le Carre and the 2011 adaptation of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy in particular.
