Home From Home (BBC-2 30 Aug 2016, Johnny Vegas)

In Home From Home, a comedy pilot showing as part of the BBC’s Sitcom Season, Neil and Fiona Hackett have scrimped and saved to buy their dream lodge in the Lake District only to discover that their new neighbours, Robert and Penny Dillon, are exactly the opposite of them.

The Dillons are effortlessly superior in every way. Fiona decides to take the chance to make friends with her neighbours at a ‘getting-to-know-you’ barbecue, but Neil is less convinced. When night falls and the sangria flows the atmosphere goes from promising to catastrophic as Neil commits the ultimate faux pas.
